Forty five years ago, Joe Bologna, a San Francisco Bay Area architect, added “sculptor” to his resume. Naturally, the two disciplines – sculpture and architecture — complement each other.
Now Joe is a full-time sculptor and public artist. He works with metals, wood, concrete, plastics, LED lighting , water and whatever media will help him realize his next concept. He’s enthusiastic about making sculpture that is approachable, engaging and might prompt smiles from viewers.
